About Christopher A Newman
Chris has worked professionally in the field of illustration as a comic book artist and spot illustrator. He is an accomplished portrait artist with many of his pieces held in private collections across the state of Kentucky.
Preferring not to be labeled as a particular kind of artist: Chris enjoys the challenge of learning new mediums and techniques. From flowers in watercolor to portraits in graphite, or penciling zombies for gaming companies.
He has little formal training, relying rather on keen observation, studying, and grinding it out at the drawing table to develop his skills. Through a lifelong dedication, Chris has continually built upon his natural talents and has become in the truest sense an artist.
